She is to the left. She supported reparations, homeless bill of rights, and programs designed make housing affordable including home repairs. Duggan was more fiscally conservative and butted heads with Sheffield. He’s also an opportunist and knows his best play is to endorse the winner.

Sheffield has a record of being on the city council for 10 years and was pretty progressive, often butting heads with Duggan. Duggan is politically savvy, he’s endorsing the likely winner.

Michigan and Texas are not the same. Michigan is a swing state that leans blue. Texas hasn’t elected a democrat in nearly 30 years. Dems need Detroit to win statewide.

The New York City race isn’t really competitive. You should care more about the Detroit race because Michigan is a swing state. New York is not. Also, Detroit is 80% black and blacks are the base of the party.

Rashida Tlaib, whose district covers half of Detroit, has endorsed Mamdani but not Mary Sheffield who is running for mayor or Detroit. Strangely, no one has given one flying fuck about Sheffield's endorsements.

No, it didn’t. Schumer & Hochal didn’t endorse Adams until the end of Oct which had more impact (Jeffries didn’t even endorse Adams) but he isn’t a special little boy like boy Mamdani. Stop spreading nonsense. This is how endorsements happened and you know it. Still waiting Mamdani to endorse Hochal
