Another rhythm-movement-shooter enters the fray! It reminds me a lot of the original GunJam demo but with BPM gunplay. However, it also is a bit opaque and simplistic with its various mechanics, and especially the gun upgrades. It is on a good track, but needs a bit more meat before release

One of the co-op games of all time. The "puzzles" consist mostly of obfuscating what does what and how, so you stumble through trial and error until you figure out all the puzzle elements. I enjoyed some of the writing, so while not bad it's mainly as good as the friend you bring along for the ride

A metroidvania with an artistic theme and some cool ideas. Don't want to have to run back to where you died to get back your currency? Well then you can choose to persevere, at the cost of making all enemies (and bosses) stronger. I'm only missing some more explanation on the game's lore ideas

A platformer centered around memorizing the obstacles as you play the levels with all of them removed. While it does have a little bit of trial and error, it's a lot more about memory and confidence in your own moves than smashing your head against the wall until you beat a level

While at its core this is a 4-lane rhythm game, it is doused in a thick gravy of denpa music, anime visuals, and a protagonist who is just a wee bit insane. The whole experience felt extremely alien to what I'm used to, it was also very cohesive and enjoyable

The game starts with a simple grid puzzle and quickly expands into a whole tree of branching paths you can take, and occasionally you will need to explore elsewhere before returning to a puzzle you won't know how to solve. Bit lengthy, but a good time if you like grid puzzles

A game about quickly controlling phone signals on a switchboard so that they go to the right destination, set in a satirical cold war. It's overall is well made, polished, and has a strong sense of absurdity it leans into. A tad slow, but a lot of gimmicks to keep things interesting

A co-op detective game, where one player plays as the detective, and the other as his trusty dog partner. The catch is that you can only use single-syllable words, which can lead to some hilarious (mis)communication. There is a little bit of jank, but the whole experience was a lot of fun

An extremely fun mix of rule discovery and platforming. You're a dung beetle tasked with pushing your ball all the way to Olympus, but to do that you'll need to figure out this game's movement tech works. It's relatively short, but it is most certainly enjoyable

A cozy action-adventure, that has an unlikely group of heroes battle loneliness and figure out who their companion is. It may sound a bit generic, but the vibes are most delightful, and I enjoyed the writing that really does give each character a different personality and mannerism

A gravity-bending 3D grid puzzler, where every level has you figure out a slightly new way to use the very limited tools at your disposal. I was overthinking a lot of the puzzles, but they're great. It's rare to see first person be both free look and grid-based, and they pull it off exceedingly well

A truly unique rhythm fishing game. It mixes up individual mechanics you may have seen in other rhythm/fishing games, and puts it together into a musical mayhem. I have never had this much fun fishing in a game, and the boss fish at the end of a demo is a perfect culmination of it all

A rhythm bullet heaven, where each song is a simplified beatmap defining when you can attack. Chaining specific attacks can activate special moves, but doing so is quite difficult in the mayhem of the fight. Dying is also difficult, and the demo lacks a goal, but is otherwise a well-made concept

The whole point of ODDLI is to move your character on a grid, onto the goal, avoiding all the previous characters you moved to their goals. Very quickly it becomes a choreography of dancing Oddles. It is missing some QoL features, but is otherwise as satisfying as it claims to be.
