Just so there's no confusion, I absolutely love feedback like this, even if you call it a hot take lol. I get it, lots of us do. I'd prefer to know what people are thinking vs. silent nods. Just wanted to share what I've seen from my own perspective, and help clear up confusion if there was any.

cost alone is a car payment to operate at the scale we're currently at. Where that could better be used to support our team looking to continue playing RL events, travel, hotels, etc. It's always been our mission to cultivate a place to learn provide opportunities for those that aspire to grow. 4/4

we want to learn and see what does, and doesn't work and go from there. We still love SL for what it is, most of us spent half of our lives there, but we want to explore, and try new things, and we can't keep paying into a platform that, consistently has shown less, and less return for us. The 3/4

As for being bullied for not having a headset, thankfully I don't often see that as much as I had expected to, but that also depends on where you're at too. There's definitely "Top search" places that have that, but most other places don't care. This is why we're taking the year away though, 2/4

Toddo here, just some results from my own research, as VRC is not the final answer as to where we're going. Yes, you can make your avatars private (turn off cloning in your main menu). As for the price of an Av, I got my base for 45+60 for someone to do textures. 1k is for custom models. 1/4
