I was once at a children’s party where a child made a banana & pickled beetroot sandwich. 2 minutes after eating it he threw up, I’m mentioning this now as your cheese & jam combo is giving me similar vibes.

Once had my overcoat mistakenly taken from the train, stop before mine, only discovered as train approached my station. Fortunately one of my business cards was in the pocket & the ‘thief’ called me. He was very put out that I didn’t have his coat, but how was I to know which was his!

I suspect strangers observing me and my wife will think we don’t like one another, what they don’t know is that both of us are busy on our phones in a 4 way conversation with each other and our non present children.

I suspect it’s not the ingredients that is effective, rather the act of application, and it’s more effective if applied by a friend. Certainly “cock” cream works this way.

It is, my granddaughter (4 next month) found it and spent a happy hour admiring photos of her brother & cousin and of course herself.

She has lots, but if we go out in the evening she finds it more convenient to leave it at home and rely on my jacket pocket. I guess another way of looking at it is that she makes me her handbag!

Everywhere I look I keep coming across the expression “clap back”. It’s really annoying me, it’s a daft expression, what’s wrong with “push back”? Which clearly explains what it means. As for “clap back”, why not “skip back” or “hop back”, or even “fingers on lips” back?

I’ve just picked 8kg of quince off a single tree. This is the 1st year I’ve had more than a couple of fruits from it and I’m very pleased, it’s still quite a small tree.

I live in Portland, Oregon.
We have been labeled a "war zone."
Last night, while federal officials were in town declaring the need for more force, the "war" escalated to dancing unicorns.
This is all happening in one block south of downtown.
Thave seen with my own eyes and heard directly from friends and journalists on the ground what has been happening where I
live.
I have been told by even members of my own family that I must not be "fooled" by my own eyes ... based on the stories they've heard.
Facts will never change minds.
Stories do.
That is a propagandist's dream.
