The 50-year-old bookended his 5-4 victory over Barry Hawkins with breaks of 104 and 125.

Ronnie O'Sullivan stays on track for a record-extending 42nd ranking event title.

The Rocket made breaks of 135 and 100 during a 5-2 win over Jak Jones to set up a Xi'an Grand prix quarter-final with Gary Wilson on Saturday.

Shaun Murphy conjures up a staggering session as he outscores Kyren Wilson by 533 points to 6 in a 5-0 whitewash of the reigning Xi'an Grand Prix champ.

Murphy made breaks of 74, 141, 133, 84 & 84, whilst Wilson didn't pot a single ball - his 6 points was from a foul by Murphy!

Ireland's number one made a 147 in his last match, today he crafted runs of 97, 131, 81 and 102 during a 5-1 win over Mark Davis.

An incredible performance from English youngster Liam Pullen as he makes breaks of 103, 83, 96, 101 and 77 in a 5-0 whitewash of Noppon Saengkham to reach the last 16 of the Xi'an Grand Prix!

Saengkham was only allowed to score 23 points throughout the entire match.

A morale-boosting win for Robert Milkins - who is battling to keep his pro tour card - as he defeats reigning world champion Zhao Xintong 5-2 to reach the last 32 of the Xi'an Grand Prix.

It's another early exit for Crucible conqueror Zhao.

What a win for former UK & Masters champ Matthew Stevens, who eliminates world number one Judd Trump from the Xi'an Grand Prix with a 5-4 victory.

Trump got snookers on the blue and pink in frame eight before winning it on a re-spot, but Stevens regrouped in the deciding frame to get the job done.

Si Jiahui ousts Fan Zhengyi 5-4 in a brilliant contest that featured century breaks in four consecutive frames (105, 127, 128, 141).

World number 16 Si had to win the final three frames to go through to the last 32, where he will meet Shaun Murphy.
