After killing Narcian again and doing some warp staff shenanigans to get Aureola, I've made it to the Ilia route which should be pretty interesting as last playthrough I went to Sacae. Hopefully Ilia won't be as painful as that route.

Another strat to keep Douglas alive is get him stuck between an enemy unit and a dancer. Douglas will not attack Elffin/Lalum. If possible, make the mage with bolting lose all of its uses which is likely as the dancers have a decent avoid rate. If the dancer gets hit, use a staff bot or elixir.
