CITY The Animation has concluded with a stellar final episode. I'm sad that the mayor race wasn't adapted, but I really like this final chapter that's unique to the anime.

I'm not 100% satisfied with this adaptation, but I'm glad it exists at all and have thoroughly enjoyed it for what it is!

Hollow Knight: Silksong is a truly worthy sequel to Hollow Knight. It's definitely a much harder game, with some truly brutal combat and frankly ridiculous areas, but it's all so worth it to see how it all ends. While Hollow Knight is still my favourite game, Silksong was definitely worth the wait.

The story is great. I can't say much more than that without spoiling anything, but just know that it's a worthy story to follow on from the first game.

Christopher Larkin's score is outstanding. So many incredible themes for areas and bosses that will stick with me long after I'm done getting 100%.

Pharloom is much larger kingdom than Hallownest, and that's both good and bad. The biome variety is great, with each area feeling super distinct and having their own gimmicks. However, you can often find yourself going down hidden paths that don't seem to lead to anything. Feels like a weird choice.

I have beaten the true ending of Hollow Knight: Silksong, so I can now give some thoughts on the game as a whole.

It's far more challenging that the first game. Every fight is a carefully choreographed back and forth that will punish you heavily if you don't respect them. I like that aspect a lot.
