It is a great idea! I picked up some replacements for Mum & Dad’s 1952 wedding china (Johnson Bros -Green Cloud)very cheaply on EBay. It’s the older ones it’s impossible😪

The other thing I’ve noticed is the amount of water it saves!! Rinsing out shampoo at the sink was a never ending job- now it’s squeaky clean with a couple of bowls!!

That’s true, it’s just very sad that it’s not really appreciated or valued at the moment- some cups & saucers are 150 years old!

It’s a bulb year for me at the moment- I’ve planted up two planters with some lovely new bulbs. I had three others from last year which have been desecrated, I think it must be by squirrels. They’ve been bundled into two planters & will form a very interesting abstract display!! 🌷🥀🌷🐿️

It’s so hard to be ruthless & unfeeling….I’ve the same problem with old china & porcelain- some of its family ‘heirlooms’, some of it I’ve picked up. At the moment it is not at all trendy or desired!!

I had loads of skin patch tests for allergies & eczema & no end of additives in toiletries & cleaning products showed up. I use a rosemary or ginger shampoo bar which makes my hair shine & as it’s drying a few drops of Avon argon hair serum rubbed through my hair.
