When I first got sober I heard the phrase - do the next right thing. But many choices are not right or wrong and my crazy brain will paralyze itself trying to figure it out. I like this phrase better.

And "No." is a complete sentence. Social conditioning has me thinking I have to justify my decisions. In sobriety, I am practicing simple answers stated with calm and kindness. But it takes practice... a lot. 😁
