I could do it door-to-door quicker than yesterday 😆

Because I had to factor in extra time, I left my house 5.30am yesterday and got home after midnight.

Tranmere have two free Saturdays in Nov/Dec.

If you're that way inclined, you could fly Stansted to Palma de Mallorca for £30 return, watch Mallorca vs Osasuna, and be back in Blighty a mere 13 hours after departing.

The only thing that keeps me interested in Tranmere is the FA Cup, and the likelihood is that it could be short-lived.

We did beat Wycombe in 2019 when they were the highest-ranked club in the first round.

Hard to believe there's a bigger derby in Istanbul than Eyupspor vs Kasimpasa.

Although the game has been switched to Kasimpasa's stadium, it's free entry for Eyupspor fans, but not Kasimpasa.

Kasimpasa is the club of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

And I've been let down for a ticket for Thursday's Europa League game, Fenerbahçe vs Stuttgart.

All is not lost. I've managed to buy a ticket for tomorrow's game against Fatih Karagümrük.

Though that means jibbing the Erokspor game I'd planned to go to, and have a ticket for.

I went to the Old Ali Sami Yen. The Welcome to Hell stadium, back in 2010.

Absolutely loved it, and the city. I love chaotic big cities.

Power banks are a strict no-no, as are most things. Had coins and keys taken off me when I saw Fenerbahçe vs Galatasaray in basketball 15 years ago.

Going in the away end on Wednesday at Galatasaray, so I expect the full works from the Polis
