Here's a snippet of a comment I left on Realms of Reverie. This is pretty early in the story, when these two girls are beginning to figure out their feelings... but things are never clear cut, and they still have so much to work through.

And then Kayla and Kari’s section aauauaaua I knew it I knew it it’s finally happening and on prom night???
When it comes to Kayla’s feelings and relationship with Kari it really feels like she’s moving on instinct, it feels to me like she’s still scared to explore these feelings but she knows how important Kari is to her even if she’s unwilling to think too deeply about why. Kayla isn’t one to sit down and think too hard about why she does the things she does but I wonder if we’ll ever get to see that :>

RoR has a lesbian relationship, yes, but it's so much more - one of the most interesting protags I've ever read, written boldly and very often in the wrong. Tackling issues like fatphobia head on without restraint, with more issues to come. A story that is incredibly important to me!!

Little snippet of a comment I just left on a chapter of "Almost a Stranger". This story covers topics that are incredibly close to my heart, you should give it a shot! Now up on PMDFF as it rightly should be ^_^

The support group meetup is the highlight for me, both in concept and in execution. Max is a recovering feral – treated differently and often horribly by others, but the moment we encounter more people like Max, in that space, it’s like it doesn’t even matter – in fact, we can suddenly talk about everything openly and without fear.

It’s an incredibly realistic portrayal of community and the importance of spaces that allow you to be yourself without judgement or fear. It spoke to me of my own experiences, the way it’s so much easier, and often only possible, to be my full self around people like me. It’s not an admonishment of people who are different (Neb is right there), but an acknowledgement of how much easier it is and how powerful community can be.

When the world feels, IS against you, the level of relief you feel in a space you know is on your side, a space you don’t have to walk on eggshells, it’s a powerful thing.

I am complaining about people who are anti-ai. Seeing people use these models is annoying, but not nearly as concerning to me as the conservative and outright reactionary politics of the anti-ai crowd.
