Thank you for reading. I know this sounds worrisome but, really, I'm kinda just talking it out on here to tell others they aren't alone in feeling unimportant or untalented even when you know it's not true. Even our heroes have bad years. But they stuck it out. So, I don't know, stick it out.

BUT! I'm pushing myself. I've written 3 new shorts in the last week. Two to pitch and one for THE DARK. Oddly enough I'm feeling pretty good about them so far. I know next year could be a much better year. Or worse. But it won't be a better year if I don't get less Bummer Man and more proactive...

I used to do a lot of cons. I hardly do any now. Not really by choice as much as forgetting until it's too late. Because I'm depressed. Like NYCC. I planned on going but forgot to apply and then got depressed and didn't try anything else to go. I don't know. It's just been a tough year...

I spend most of my time being depressed and irritable (more than usual). This is why there have been such long gaps between stories for THE DARK. First I don't have time because of working on other things that pay, then I get stressed about not having work and it distracts from everything...

One problem. I have when I don't have work is how easy it is to just sit and do nothing while never being able to relax. Then I get into this headspace where I'm like "what am I even doing?". I put together a couple pitches just to ultimately talk myself into believing no one wants it...
