Finished a reread this morning of “The Horse Whisperer”. The story of broken beings (a girl and her horse) resonates with me. But also the story of how these characters are able to mend what was broken.

I have my comfort horror: the first few Friday the 13th films, Halloween, the Alien series. This is where I am right now: we watched the first episode of Wednesday season two and it was too much for me. That was my sign! So we watched the 90’s Addam’s Family movies and loved em.
