That’s okay and thank you!! We took him to the emergency vet at like 1am because he got really sick and lethargic very quickly, they recommended surgery after imaging and his exam so 😭 we were up pretty late when I posted originally!

Pepper update!

The vet sent me this photo he’s out of surgery it went well and they were able to clear the foreign body that was causing a blockage

😭 he ate a disposable foam earplug

BUT!! He did fine and is expected to make a full recovery and we should be able to pick him up in a couple hours

The vet was very optimistic about the surgery and wasn’t worried about complications, but still my poor baby is being cut open and idek what he ate that did this to him

It feels like a nightmare

And here I am at 430 in the morning and I can’t bring myself to sleep because I’m so sick from anxiety and scared that if I fall asleep I might miss a call from the vet 😭😭😭

The unexpected expense is a major blow to us financially. Think 2 months of mortgage and bills paid up front. All the cash in our wallets, a good chunk of my checking account, and two credit cards to cover it 😭😭😭

We took my sweet little baby lap cat Pepper to the emergency vet tonight because he became very sick and lethargic in the span of a few hours.

He’ll be going into surgery in a couple hours for a bowel blockage. I’m hopeful we will be bringing him home in 8-12 hours. 🥺😭
