Bringing the Reitman’s back into the fold with Gil Kenan managed to capture of the magic of the original movies. I had a blast watching them, and if you abandoned the franchise in 2016, it’s well worth returning. After all, BUSTIN’ MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD

I also appreciate the solid filmmaking that went into these films, awesome writing, great sets and props with good balance of practical and CGI special effects. They so easily could have gone full-Marvel and ruined some of the charm of the franchise.

Watched Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire this weekend. Was pleasantly surprised at how the original-universe franchise managed to recreate the high stakes family fun and comedy of the original two movies - particularly given the 2016 reboot was so bad.

What kinda 'welfare checks' you reckon this vigilante in my neighbourhood's crime group is carrying out at 4:30am?

A screenshot of a Facebook post in a redacted Crime Alerts group. The post reads "Patrols pimlico, all those activ [sic] areas,Gladstone,St[sic] ect,[sic] both servos, welfare checks, Mysterton..". It shows three photos, one including an unidentifiable weapon in the passengers seat of a car. Other photos are of neighbourhood streets.

Investigating it a bit more it specifically seems to have gone to a pile of email addresses that were breached in an OpenSea data breach which leaked emails between 2022 and 2024.
