I seriously am hearbroken over it. From the moment I saw the movie I dreamed of seeing a stage version and the butchering & stuffing dozens of annoying TikTok-able hits, cutting out the most iconic songs from the movie is indefensable. It baffles me my favorite songs were used to do so much damage.

Just got home from #MoulinRouge musical. I will be mourning this tragedy "until my dying day". I don't know how someone could completely destroy one of my favorite movies with my favorite pop songs? The cast was stellar. The design was great. The writing and music was a murder.

My brother, who lives on the opposite side of the country, (almost) always visits in the fall to clean my garage. 🤪

Saw #Frankenstein last week in the theatre. It is good. I found it a little slow, but it feels intentional and is pretty much an "art film". I wasn't bored. I've never read the book, but this has a very different framing from the story I'm familiar with so now I'll have to read the book and see.
