I'm not entirely sure what specimen I'm looking at. This one grows in my yard in the fall at the same location every year. I think it likes the pine and birch nearby.

I wonder if I'm catching an early bloom of these vivid copper mushrooms that also grow, but they don't have that distinct green.

I wanted to comment on the post yesterday because I wasn't seeing the alleged accusation in the provided sample. But I have no idea who they are, who you are and what was going on beyond the face value of that post.
