I was also given a few 'testing aids' to try and y'all. HOLY SHIT, it was like THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN MISSING?
I'm looking at 4 grand for these, not cheap but it'll be worth it.

I went through extensive testing to determine where my hearing is (profound loss in left ear, severe in right), & had molds of my ear done, so these little buggers can just pop right in. I'll have them by the time to go to Vegas. #hearingloss #hearingaids #aging 🧵

Apparently I've been losing hearing over the past 10ish yrs but in the last few months, it reached a point I couldn't brush it off anymore. Also explains why my balance & equilibrium is wonky. I found a place on downtown that accepts people w/no insurance. 🧵 #hearingloss #aging #hearingaids

If we're friends on FB, you might have seen this - Yesterday I was fitted for hearing aids. I have about 40-50% loss in both ears, worse in the left. I blame age - 60 next yr & the damage I did from concerts I saw in the Dark Ages of the 80s/90s with no ear plugs. 🧵 #hearingaids #aging #hearingloss

My mom had Alzheimer's. His mental capacity is ticking off all the boxes for that or dementia. It's disgusting how his own family isn't doing anything. His handlers must have their hands full.

I've got a couple of stories that have hit the 50 rejection mark. It's annoying as fuck frustrating, but I'm trying to see it as it's the lit mag who rejected loss. They passed up on a great story. Any other way of thought would have me going insane and day drinking. 🤪
