Lots of Monarchs flitting about!
But there's one! In a Chinaberry tree.
No Monarchs sleeping on Gregg's Mistflower.
Gregg's Mistflower is popular this time of year!
At one point, there were eight on the bush at one time! Gregg's Mistflower. The kind with white flowers, obviously. I have two with blue flowers, but no Monarchs.

I wonder if they'll sleep on this bush tonight. I'll go out and check in a while.
Drying off some Plumeria cuttings. The mother plant had fallen over in the storm the other night, and the roots were sticking up! I pushed them gently back down, covered with soil, and put bricks on top to hold them down. We'll see what transpires!
Photographing the Elephant's Trunk Nebula tonight.
FB memories. This was a year ago, way up north. It was SO BEAUTIFUL!
Here in central Texas, I have to go looking for Fall colors. They're not impressive.
Oh this is so cool! A Peregrine Falcon in the tree by our back porch! I heard it, I saw it, but I didn't get a picture of it. 😢
A layer of fog this morning!
I had a really nice meander, and loved all the sparkling dew drops and raindrops! We had .75 inch of rain during the night, and it is soggy and muddy this morning!
Looking west -
Interesting clouds - very feathery.
We had quite a storm during the night, with just over an inch of rain in about one hour. The wind was pretty scary and my biggest Plumeria got badly bent. What should I do about it? I won't be able to get it inside when we eventually have freezing weather. Should I cut & root the top 10 inches?
