Ah~! That's right! I understand now. In Japan, the two genres are combined into one. Collectively, it is called "dream（夢） novel（小説）". You can change the name of the main character. However, the character of the main character is often the author himself.

Surprised! There is a type of novel called "x reader fanfiction", but there is no "self-insert fanfiction" in Japan. I think it exists in some parts, but most people will keep it only in themselves because it's embarrassing.

私の弟、私よりアイラインを引くのが上手い！昨日ビデオ通話で一緒にメイクしていたのですが感性が似ているのでアイシャドウの乗せ方が一緒で最終的に同じような顔が2つできあがって笑ってました。原色が似合う顔なのでいつかMACのラメバチバチのアイシャドウメタリックをプレゼントしてあげたい。
