I find it mad that my Grandma (who still lives independently at 96) clearly remembers her own Grandma in York in the 30s. So that’s someone born in the 1870s within living memory 🤯 she told me a story about her butcher and I’m pretty sure I had a Grindr hookup in the same house 🤣

I have a friend with the same dates, I think. My Great Grandad (who we called Wobbly Grandad) was alive through my childhood and he was born around then too. He fought in WWI. There’s a pic somewhere of him, Grandad, Dad and my brother on the same sofa.
