Not in B.C.! I don't think anywhere in Canada to my knowledge although the tipped minimum wage is a huge issue in many states.

It's a pine so people think they will be ok in our climate but they're actually tropical. They like humidity and probably between 15 and 25 degrees so definitely gets too chilly in the winter for them and they'll get shocked and die.

B.C. Premier David Eby has just announced the creation of two more involuntarily care sites: one in Prince George and one in Surrey.

This will double the number of sites in the province, and Eby said his goal is to have them in every region of the province.
