I had to acquire a lot of insight about myself from both and inside and outside perspective, so my way of going about this stuff isn't exactly easy for everyone.

Well, in my case, I guess I had to know how people felt about me and what my strongsuits were as a person.

To me, you're very genuine and kind, but you also have a lot of underlying chaotic-trickster energy, and I like your immense interest and infatuation with a lot of incredibly niche things.

With my new one, I blended in elements I like about my appearance, my personality, the things I like, and the things I see myself in. That's how I went about it.

With my old Sona, I was trying too hard to bound myself in reality and actually make it look like me. It was dumb and stupid after I realized that a lot of people just have like... fictional creature or animal Sonas that don't really even look like them besides general resemblance.

TLDR; Take your inspirations, what you see yourself in, what you want to be, what you feel is right, and just brainstorm a bit until you hit the jackpot, then get making a simple thing, maybe a doodle or a Mii or something, and when you're happy with it, start working on the full thing.
