Alex Brahmsteadt, DO, a neurocritical care fellow, presented a research poster at the Neurocritical Care Society 2025 conference in Canada. The study found that certain patterns often appeared up to 12 hours before doctors saw physical signs of brain herniation.

A team led by Dr. Brian Hafner conducted a study to validate the Orthotic Patient-Reported Outcomes - Mobility (OPRO-M) short forms – standardized surveys developed by the investigators to assess perceived mobility in users of lower limb orthoses (LLOs).
