What helps is that the waterfall is a high sorted object, meaning it's always on top of everything else, increasing the chances of palette mishap.

As long as one sprite is sorted high and over 17, there will be issues.

This is an 18+ glitch.
Your sprite has to be 18 or over to cause problems.

There IS a buffer to prevent palette damage, but it's only a 16 piece buffer.
The waterfall takes up 18 pieces, going 2 over the limit and causing 12 bytes of damage as 1 piece overwrites colours.
The last 4 bytes are always cleared, giving the distinct black forehead.

After some experimentation, we figured this out:
The sprite table can overflow to the palette in S2 if you place enough big waterfalls purely because the check for sprite overflow was moved from each piece to each sprite group. This has been the case since the Nick Arcade prototype.

Star Light Zone is the only zone in the entire game that has only one checkpoint. This is because the pylon foreground object is placed manually at the start of the zone, meaning they get upset if you have a skill issue at the boss and leave.

I wish our psychiatrist could get us therapy, they'd offered to send us to a psychologist three months ago and couldn't find anyone available.

Though a small part of me, considering the ones I had suspected to be against me, thinks that my suspicions were correct since it had been the folks who had ties with the group I had in mind that had been silent about it and feels justified.

Only for a mouse to "politely" squish it out of the way.

Vivie does think there's at least 1 or 2 people who absolutely hate our guts but it's all a vocal minority we shouldn't worry about, though I'm curious if anyone has any feedback to give.

Screw the people who’ve given up on me and not believing we can improve.

I really should take the advice of a few friends and just unfriend / block them.
Even if they were best friends, the stress is not worth it, it’s been MONTHS.

There are times I reflect on actions and how some individuals actively avoid me after being too depressive that it makes me wanna leave consciousness and just let Vivie take over.

Last year we had a package of Toofs gone missing and the people who made the plushies made another 100 to compensate for the loss.

More than a year later and the package suddenly arrives out of the blue. Typical UPS delivery time :V

We got Toof many of these.
