The imaginarium of denial that Labor and industry have constructed and which Speers et al dutifully operate within avoids their confronting two policy 🐘: all fossil carbon mining contributes to climate change and carbon offsetting/capture, both 🌳 & 🏭, isn’t real.

Big police contingent deployed to Canberra pro Palestine rally. Given how peaceful and responsibly organised these rallies have been this is a ridiculous waste of public money and police resources. I mean if there’s trouble at the kids face painting table you’d only need a couple of cops max 🤷.

Yet so many centrists are lapping it up as they do for all plans to square circles that can’t be. Just as for climate we must end fossil carbon burning, for a just peace in the ME we must dismantle Zionism. Sometimes there are no easy roads, no win/win solutions. Just a zero sum game for justice.
