La cosa si fa complessa quando hai installate 5 lingue ma ti dimentichi di cambiarle e scrivi nella lingua x ma la tastiera è impostata sulla y quindi il T9 ti corregge come se fosse la y... escono delle cose assurde!!

Being told more than once "you're the cause of your mother's forgetfulness!!" while it was clear that she was developing Alzheimer's is something I cannot forget or forgive.

I see no point in pretending it's not happening. My mother didn't want to acknowledge it, and the rest of the family backed her. I was the black sheep, pointing it out.
I could have done without that pain that went on for years.
If you get diagnosed, accept it and start planning.

My mother died in 2024 but I lost her years earlier.
Sticking your head in the sand won't make it go away - acknowledge the problem and start planning. Anything else is selfish and adds unnecessary pain.

The only drinkable stuff for me is the plain coffee in the smallest possible cup. Anything else, with flavouring, I find nauseating. I love my Italian espresso/macchiato in a tiny cup. A good roast doesn't even need sugar. 🙂

Thank you! I didn't think I could go from 8,2km to 15km just like that but it *is* doable! I might have to do the same route back and forth because if I go any further the roads are too steep, but.... it still counts!
