Here we are at the Ponte delle Guglie bridge, now crossed by thousands of people every day. With a large wooden hammer, they started at the head and worked their way towards the tail, then turned it over and proceeded in the opposite direction, from the tail towards the head.

Qui ci troviamo al ponte delle Guglie, oggi “battuto” — per usare un gioco di parole — da migliaia di persone al giorno. Con un grosso martello di legno si partiva dalla testa procedendo verso la coda per poi girare lato e procedere in senso inverso, dalla coda verso la testa.
