this is all just stock thief 2 textures, by the way. i am not at all good at curating new texture palettes—but when some decent palettes are available to me, i really enjoy the process of discovering different ways to use them to decorate a level.

A long hallway of stone bricks, with a blue marble floor. Gaslamps sit in small alcoves along the hallway, illuminating it. Down the middle of the hall run four mahogany pillars in a line, with long planters between them. A shallow arch runs along the middle of the ceiling, with a skylight above each planter, although dim because it is not daylight. Two small L-shaped rugs line the corners at this end of the hall. A guard, armed with a sword, passes by on patrol.
