Cork 🇮🇪 Going nowhere slowly.....😎

If you're minded of a purchase Robert then the double CD is probably the way to go, as it has a superb live album recorded on the last tour. It's a great package 👌
I had one of those moments earlier when I listened to 'The Man Who Turned Into A Chair' on the new album 😂
👍 He's a wonderful songwriter, I always enjoy his albums 😊
#NP The Divine Comedy | Rainy Sunday Afternoon

First spin for me of this lush orchestral pop album, somewhat appropriately on a rainy Saturday evening. Neil Hannon's songwriting is always of the highest calibre, and the delivery is perfect. I think it will be raining tomorrow, but such is life 😊
...... and one might say colourful edition 😎
👍 😂 I also brought this home today Phil. Let me not lead you into temptation, it's also a beauty. Music to get lost in.
Yes Phil, but I think the relatively recent black remaster is still the best pressing. That said this one looks beautiful. I was more or less on the same page as you, but folded. An ongoing weakness 😂
#NP David Sylvian I Brilliant Trees

Frankly I was a little dubious about the merits of a 'corona olive opaque black' edition of one of my very favourite albums, but here I am with my eight physical copy and transfixed by it's beauty. The music, as ever, speaks for itself. A treasure 👌
Of course you might always win the lotto in the meantime Ricky......... 🤞 😂
Pity about that Ricky. We're both going, it's a little bit away but I'm really looking forward to it. I last saw Peter a good few years ago in the Unitarian Church in Dublin when he was touring Impermanence. Whelans will be an excellent venue for The Antlers 😊
Kinnegar is one of my very favourite breweries Ricky, but I haven't tried the amber ale. Must put that wrong to right 😊
Yes, I'm still playing it Ricky. It's such a great listen. Maybe we'll be seeing you for the gig in Dublin next year? Nothing quite like a healthy obsession 😊
I hope that the ale was as good as the albums Ricky 😊

I think that I first saw The Blades over forty years ago, and honestly I never tire of listening to their songs and music. They were absolutely on top form again tonight in Cyprus Avenue, Cork. Total legends 😎
#NP The Blades | The Last Man In Europe

Quick primer before heading out to see one of the greatest Irish bands ever. Forget the 'what if's' - it's a joy that these lads are still playing live and making great music.

(welcome to the weekend 😎)

A closer look at “Blight” (the song), from the new album Blight (the album), out now on

Time to sit down with the lyric sheet then Ricky. The lyrics (and songs) made a great impression last Saturday. Microdisney also sprang to mind. It will be interesting to see how things progress from here 😊
👍 You're ahead of me already Ricky 😂 I thought that I heard the singer mention that The Inheritance Of Fear was their second on Saturday, so thanks for the confirmation. I'll probably check out the debut once I've listened to the new release a few more times 😊
I have to say that I have warmed to them a lot since that mini-gig on Saturday Ricky. I bought the album on the day and am delighted with it. Some of the songs are really good. Definitely a bunch worth keeping an eye on 😊
👍 It will be interesting to read your thoughts Ricky. Hopefully it doesn't derail your evening stroll 😊
It's Cork based band Ways Of Seeing Ricky and what I think is their debut album, but I need to dig. Alt rock / indie and a bit of shoegaze. Terrific songs. I came across them for the first time at an in-store last Saturday. Well impressed 😊
💯% Tarik. I'm also particularly happy that the singles of recent years are now available on vinyl. They're a joy to listen to 😊
