Somehow wanted to do three book clubs this month thanks to @blackwalnutbooks.bsky.social having some excellent picks, and finished two out of three, fruiting bodies is the third and I’m starting it today!

Some books for right now. Just stared reading Dark Laboratory after finishing Undrowned and Chain-gang All-stars. Then will likely start A Certain Hunger and Shock Doctrine, and sneak in The Lottery graphic novel sometime this weekend 📚🌿

Hello, #booksky - here’s the stack of books I’ll be pulling from this year, in between library reads and impulse purchases. Any on your reading lists this year?

I’ll miss the corners of booktok I lurked in, so here’s to trying to find more people to follow, again.

Two stacks of books 20 books high against dark green walls, non fiction from radium girls, the Jakarta method, and what my bones know, to fantasy like mistborn and a day of fallen night, indigenous reads from bad cree, the sentence, split tooth. Trying for a balance across genres.
