If fake reviews that were previously removed from your Business Profile are now reappearing—even after years—Google has confirmed it’s a bug.

Tried claiming a business, but instead of a verification prompt, I found it suspended! Not sure if it’s a bug or a feature, but hey, suspensions are way easier than verifications! 😆

🚨 New Update on Missing Reviews! 🚨

According to our Product Expert, Helmut Geissler, the reviews are most likely still there, but the total count (the displayed “review score”) has decreased. He has confirmed this across multiple business profiles after personally checking them.

Good news on missing reviews globally!

Google is aware of the issue and is working on a fix. If you’ve already raised a ticket or Case ID with Google (as shown in my previous video), sit tight and be patient.
