Sending huge hugs. I went back to study in my late 20s and I still felt like a total fish out of water and like I was “the old guy” in the class. The social aspect of it was more difficult than any of the classwork.

I had been to her Mother’s house to help with IT issues. I’d helped her daughters with business advice. I told her things I still haven’t told some of my closest friends. Needless to say I was totally blindsided and very fucking hurt. But hey, you live, you learn.

I worked for a VERY small company and my “work wife” who was also my boss was a close friend - or so I thought. Turns out she 100% only gave a shit about herself and was happy to stab me in the back, throw me under the bus and then try to gaslight me that she didn’t know what I was talking about.
