A US Navy P-8A out of Reykjavik is returning to base after completing their high altitude surveillance mission in the Barents Sea. This has become a pretty regular mission of late. Could be associated with russian weapons testing or exercises in the area.

Of note, resumption of both Burevestnik related NOTAMs from 13 OCT to 17 OCT. (none in effect today)

TRQUE22, RC-135W Rivet Joint aircraft is out of Al Udeid heading west across Saudi Arabia. They went off radar shortly after takeoff. This is similar to its flights out of Al Udeid since arriving on Sept 30th from Waddington. On Oct 4th its flight path was into the Gulf of Oman & south of Oman

They do spin around fast when that tail rotor goes. Had a Cobra make a 360 in less than a second. Got the throttles off at the 180 and got it stopped at 360. No tail rotor failure, just a copilot trying to kill me.
