Like the Ultra Beasts if not more, The Treasures of Ruin are out of place beings due to the way they came to be. Arceus even did not create them at all.

It was the negative feelings and such that brought the cursed objects to life and they happen to form animal-like bodies around their real bodies.

Then she puts him down and smiled at him with much motherly affection.
