this arc really has it all. lani being put in like five separate awkward scenarios. monologue about killing your own son for mercy's sake (unclear if it's mercy toward him or you). new important character that lani and co want to smash with a brick. 10/10.

the worst part about this (well. there are worse parts but i can't spoil them) is num is such a proud character and won't apologize for anything. he may try to make it up to people he's hurt but you will never get an apology

sometimes i forget that num kind of hated ísja for several years before he died and then he pulls shit like this and i'm like ohhh yeah. i guess you Would still be a bit resentful, huh. man :(

num keeps being mean to ísja in this chapter and i'm so sad about it.. i am not gonna have a fun time drawing ísja feeling really hurt by some of this stuff...
