I’ll sound like old person yelling at cloud but truly re:metroidvanias: one of the biggest reasons I just call them what they are - exploration games- is that I can talk about what I do to my Mom without having to explain it in words that just use “exploration driven games” in it anyways

A game made by @walaber.com for the itch Falling Block Game Jam this year.

I love that game has this loose, "cells sliding past each other"movement. Very bouncy too! The homemade sound effects were quite fun and I never felt too stressed.

It's official I am writing a hundred line scenario.
The premise is "takumi get ipad".
The conflict is that a nefarious individual assumes his identity and posts problematic shit (It is, of course, exactly who you'd expect).
At one point everyone starts calling him "Ta-groom-i" (thanks kurara)

when I say that I like being challenged, what i mean is that i like the relief of having the challenge off of my back and not the consistent crushing weight that it presents as I am working through said challenge.

all that is to say that getting through grad school is hard and tiring
