my drive to make genuine personal art hasn’t been great hmm. I have fun ideas but then I keep thinking who cares, and lose motivation. :/
I keep turning it around from “just for me” to “what would make others happy?”.
I need to treat myself better, haha.

I made this and realized it doesn't really help at all, I'll add it anyways. but for the ask itself- honestly I tend to spend most time at the final stage. despite how rough my personal stuff is, there's a lot of nitpicking involved. (this is harder to explain than I expected, my apologies)

im not sure how to articulate my process offhand. but hey if you have any particular questions, that may be helpful👍 I will say I tend to use minimal layers and like to draw directly onto my sketches & erase the extra later. maybe i can take some screenshots while i draw?

(on a short note/personal update) i'm just staying quiet and posting art on occasion to keep from dwelling on things too much. for me in particular its easy to slip back into dangerous territory so i need to be easy with myself. hope everyone's holding up the best they can. i am at the moment :>

same, i feel like ppl tend to lean towards humans instead of the other way around when doing au versions. not to say human-izations are overdone, they're always nice to see. but yeah these were fun to research and draw!

1- i included some things from around the world in the first two, tho perhaps it was not v obvious. base ingredients could work as well.
2- oh boy :P that would be fun, but idk how ethanol would affect them as an alien. or perhaps it's not that deep lol, maybe it'd take a lot to really get to them.

Thank u 🙇 what if i told u there's already a 4th part, it just involves a silly side story with no eating. decided not to post cause it's unpolished & didn't really go anywhere. if I did indeed do a proper pt.4, idk what the theming would be. I'd be open to ideas if anyone had any 😅
