Wu Yize was marvellous today — five 70+ breaks in a best-of-9 match is a rare feat, and he did it! As I expected, he’s well over 90% in both pot success and positional success (which basically means whether you can pot the next ball or not).

Trump, Allen, Zhao, and Selby all lost their matches, but it’s amazing for Milkins and Davis, who are fighting for their tour cards.

I don’t even know who to praise, so many great performances today. Two maximums and several players with two centuries but for me Slessor stood out with four 70+ breaks. He’s clearly gained confidence lately but can he establish himself as a true title contender?
