Finally turning Hypefinder fully 3D, this fixes more issues than I can think of. When I first made the game I just intended for it to be a tiny 2D project but as the art direction developed, this huge change was bound to be made eventually

It really falls into the same category as minecraft and skyrim, where the base gameplay is serviceably fun, but it's so open ended and moddable that you can tweak it to your liking. This is like if minecraft included terrafirmacraft and also it was the gmod of survival games.

Vintage Story really has been jumping between being the best game I ever played and a bit of a mess. I absolutelly love this game, but the vanilla gameplay disappoints a bit, but it's super moddable by design so I can fix it my way so I *actually* love it. I'm about to lose it

Like people can have positive opinions about something, I get why this game is the way it is and the kind of people it appeals to. But seeing a million "best game ever made" headlines directed at a game even people that like it told me is incredibly niche sure is something
