No pilot can control a helicopter once the tail rotor fails and the aircraft starts counter-spinning. At that point, it just crashes where it crashes, the pilot is just along for the ride.

I don't know about all that, I'm just saying, it was cloudy and raining in Portland today, 10/11/2025. So obviously this video wasn't taken on 10/11/2025. I don't know when it was taken, but that's definitely my city there in the background, I'd recognize Big Pink anywhere.

While I have zero native blood in me, depending on which line you follow, I'm anywhere from 3rd to 7th generation American.

So where does my status as an immigrant stem from? How many generations does it take to officially move beyond that moniker?

While I understand the idea behind it, and I appreciate and honor Native people and culture, *I* am definitely not an immigrant.

I was born here.

Both my parents were born here.

3/4 my grandparents were born here.

5/8 my great-grandparents were born here.
