I see the logic of investing in licensed videogames (though they will probably screw this up). But I feel like there half-assed development of D&D Beyond is a huge lost opportunity (though better for the hobby overall so they can't dominate).

GURPS was my gateway drug out of Third edition and into the world of post-system gaming.
It's a great system and can be played simply or with all its simulationist crunch. The problem is that most GURPS players IME go for the latter and you rarely see it played in its lite form.
