when i was a kid i didn't understand how this worked and i thought every CD that was manufactured had to have a monster put onto it. like they'd go up to ringo starr or whatever and ask him what monster he wants and he'd say "ouhh this DEfinitely has a "Battle Rocks" quality to it! peace and love.!"

thing is about FA, it's like, you have to be involved with furries and furry artists specifically that "bars off" (psychologically speaking) the normals from popping in for a good time. it's a specialized "niche" art and social? (idk how social) platform that flourishes within its targeted audience

IG is like an absolute nightmare IMO, you cannot upload pics via anything BUT mobile and then the last time I used it the photo cropping applies to literally every pic in the carousel

in my experience I feel like the worst culprits for image compression has to be like. IG, tumblr and here....surprisingly twitter has the best upload compression but its image crop preview leaves much to be desired

unfortunately it's because a lot of them prioritize mobile device usage and cutting costs on server shit that it leads to them defaulting to crunchy .jpeg image compression obviously leading to a very unfriendly to artistic expression environment all around.
