Amazing news- Congratulations, Sam!
We've got a bunch in our collection- I'd like to do a digitization project with them!
I watched the auction- from the sidelines, sadly!- with great interest. I'm glad you were able to obtain the Flamsteed!
Thanks for doing these, Lisa!
In a week filled with unpleasantness and uncertainty it was a bright moment when we received a copy of this book at our library. It is a thing of beauty, one of 50 copies printed. Melville’s Billy Budd, illustrations by the great Barry Moser.
My freshly arrived copy of @rebeccaromney.com new book, atop an exhibit case for our “Jane Austen’s Library” exhibit. We look forward to Rebecca’s visit to speak at our library on April 22nd!
You did great! 👊🏻
Awesome display in our library of covers from the Cleveland Bystander and Town Topics magazines, to celebrate that they are now available online, full text, on digital.case.edu
This one loves the snow. And the apres snow snuggles.
Thanks, Eric! BTW we have a few more loose Ege leaves I’ll show you next time you are up here!
Our library’s Cistercian psalter is a treat. I’m unsure what these leaves are doing. I think I see Saint names but what are the hash marks that fill the lines? Thank you to my medievalist friends! @lisafdavis.bsky.social @erikkwakkel.bsky.social @ejjohnson.bsky.social
It’s good to have friends!
I’d love to have a copy of your chapter, which looks fantastic!
I am WAY fortunate to have decades worth of office files for our library’s Special Collections. While looking for something else, I ran across this postcard sent to my predecessor in 1959 from Frederick Goff!
What a pleasure to work with these books in such good company!
They list 113 for Heroides.
A little binding waste to end the week. Peekaboo!
