The Condors women's basketball team did not have to go far for its fourth 2025-26 commit: G Bella Fredrick out of Channel Islands High School (just up the road from OC).

Unfortunately, I could not find any stats on MaxPreps for Bella. 🤷

Despite a solid 4.2 innings from starter Jonas Ballesteros, the Condor offense comes up dry, dropping today's contest at VC 0-8.

Condors are now 3-20 overall and 0-9 in WSC-North play.

Next up: Back #inthenest on Tuesday v. Rio Hondo at 2:00 p.m.

Game 3 of the cross-county matchup v. VC has been postponed to tomorrow afternoon at 2:00.

Though the Condors were able to dodge the raindrops #inthenest, they could not fend off a four-run 6th by VC, losing 3-8.

Condors are now 3-19 overall and 0-8 in WSC-North play.

Weather permitting, Condors wrap up this 3-game set at VC this Friday at 2:00 p.m.

Condors women's soccer announced its fourth 2025 commit:

#5 - MF Monica Botello from Fillmore H.S. (Citrus Coast League champs & made R2 of CIF playoffs last season)

Per MaxPreps, in 34 games, Monica had 7 goals & 5 assists.

Monica also played flag football at FHS.

Condors women's basketball's third commit for the 2025-26 season is PG Rosalin Moreno out of Pacifica High School.

It doesn't appear all stats were entered, but according to MaxPreps, in 3 games last year, Rosalin averaged 3.3 pts., 1.7 reb., 2.0 ast., and 1.3 stl.

It doesn't appear all stats were entered, but according to MaxPreps, in 3 games last year, Isabell averaged 13.3 pts., 3.3 reb., and 1.0 ast.

Tough start for the Condors (3-18, 0-7) in the cross-county rivalry v. VC. They dropped Game 1 at VC 1-7, only getting 3 hits (all after the 7th inning).

Game 2 #inthenest has been rescheduled to tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. in anticipation of rain in Thursday's forecast. 🌧️

Condors women's basketball also announced its first commit for the 2025-26 season: F Sofia Mora out of Rio Mesa High School.

According to MaxPreps, in 27 games last year, Sofia averaged 6.0 pts. (31% FG), 6.7 reb., 0.7 ast., 0.6 stl., and did not commit a PF.
