@gsnorgathon.bsky.social is a mensch. He took my boots to get them fixed. I'd worn them so much that the heels were completely trashed. They'd been languishing on a shoe rack for maybe eight years, maybe more. I'm glad to have them back on my feets.

today I discovered a YT channel which is this one guy who does critical analysis of Bollywood movies by first re-enacting the whole thing line by line by himself and then doing commentary on his own performance and I think the medium just achieved the highest level of art it will ever see

This and Red Rock are my faves. Still, I think I was conservative in my choices.

Once upon a time I was down at the Raison d'Etre and passed a table where a couple of men were enjoying their coffee. One of them looked at me and said, in the snarkiest way imaginable, "Oh...*Flamingo* Woman."

MAC's Flamingo isn't *quite* flamingo enough, but is a pleasant warm pink nonetheless.
