It is dangerous to look at her face if you are not a shaman because... You might just drop dead or remain scarred for the rest of your life... But otherwise she's seen as a protector of the forest and the tribe.
And in the forest she knows how everything lives and how it will die.

Lore wise this being/god did start out as some kind of bringer of death but over time she started to become a being that just brings order in the circle of life in her forest with the tribe that prays to her.

What ended up happening was that I constantly felt rejected and inadequate.
So for most things I didn't even try for fear of failure.
And I feel like nothing has changed because I'm still like that: extremely afraid of the opinion of others.
I just want to draw and have no expectations put upon me.

But I did experience some stuff when I was a kid.
I've always been a very sensitive person especially back then, and also I wasn't very bright.
So when I started getting bullied it was awful and on top of that I was terrible at school academically wise.

When a new churchyard would open they believed that the first person buried there would become the guardian of the place, to avoid this fate to a human soul they would bury a dog first so it's spirit would take the duty.

The Church Grim is the spirit that guards churchyards, it protects from grave robbers, witches, vandals and the devil, in British folklore it often appears as a large black dog with red eyes.
