I was watching a couple of the scenes where the old newspapers guys were sitting around deciding on the headlines for the next day and I was thinking – it’s almost impossible to imagine a film this dialogue intensive now – it felt hard to keep up with them & I feel it’s because I’m out of practice!

I find it really hard to get my head around the difference in how this movie would have landed to someone watching it 20 years ago, to how it seems to someone watching it today
