YES!! A cup of tea is an everyday occurrence, freely available to all who have access to a kettle. A *nice* cup of tea has to be *earned*. A quick walk from the bus stop segues naturally into a cup of tea; dashing home through pouring rain is a setup for a nice cup of tea.

Fuck, yes - I've met some amazing people, and even had the absolute privilege of becoming friends with some of them. I'm constantly learning new things from people I'd never otherwise have interacted with. My horizons are so much broader.
