Dram 5 #BTC58, Lovely bright gold in colour, good beading and nice although slow forming legs. Nose of Heavy marine oil, wet bilges, damp sail cloth and cold smoked salmon. #BlindDrams

Dram 4 #BTC58, palate recovers what the nose failed to deliver. Touch of smoke with a rich sweetness that develops to a pleasant warm finish. Clove baked apples and a salty caramel sauce. #BlindDrams

Dram 4 #BTC58, Bright with good beading and slow moving legs. Very spirited on initial acquaintance before a hot pepper spice, onion chutney and picked egg notes develop, nose isn’t selling this one😋 #BlindDrams

Dram 3 #BTC58, thick and chewy like a Liquorice wand, flavoursome and sweet but not necessarily in harmony with an underlying Tellicherry pepper note. Very dry in the mouth and on the finish #BlindDrams

Dram 3 #BTC58, Burnished copper in colour. Beading eventually appear then a Sun dial is needed to measure how long the legs take to develop they are soooo slow. Appears initially woody before raisin & rum chocolate and spices start to appear #BlindDrams

Dram 1 #BTC58, Palate is initially chewy with a sweet mouth coating . Caramel apple betty pie with a background note of fennel that lingers and as it leaves the room a smidgen of nutmeg spice develops before a bitter note appears #BlindDrams

Palate delivers a sweet but drying smoke that long lingers on the palate. Barbecued fruit and vegetables deliver the sweetness without any meaty notes, lovely

#BlindDrams #BTC56 Dram 5 is a very light gold in colour with maybe a slight pink blush. Appears quite viscous in the glass with legs slowly becoming apparent. Some acetone notes lead into green and fresh fruit with a hint of smoke

#BlindDrams #BTC56 Dram 4 palate delivers in abundance. Fresh and sweet before a wave of subtle smoke covers the palate. The sweetness continues right until the last vestige of the dram and then a slight drying bitter note is left behind.
